Domino Park is a new public park on the Williamsburg, Brooklyn waterfront celebrating the history of the former Domino Sugar Factory. Since its opening in 2018, I have worked closely with the park to design all creative requests including printed collateral, posters, and event graphics.
Domino Park
Field Guide
To help promote the park and highlight its features, I had worked with the park to design a Field Guide booklet to be given out to parkgoers.
The guide covers not only the current design and features of the park, but also the history of the Domino Sugar Refinery from its original founding up to the construction of the park.
Compost Program
One highlight of Domino Park is its community compositng program, for which I had designed a custom stamp for use on bags that people can fill with compost from the park.
A series of motion infographics I did for use on Social to help break down the overall numbers from the compost program.
Illustrated flyer to help inform people of what they can compost and what they can't.
With ever increasing popularity over the past two years, the park wanted to quantify exactly how the park is growing and how many visitors come per day. Using data collected by the park over the course of Summer 2019, I worked to create a visually interesting yet informative infographic displaying the visitor numbers, peak days & hours, social media reach, and event statistics.
Merch
A custom disposable camera, available for purchase on the Domino Park store.
Custom domino tiles that would be distributed within the park as a promotional item.
Events
As part of their community engagement programs, Domino Park holds a number of public events throughout the year. With each event having its own theme or concept, edach event needs to have a unique visual identity to differentiate events from one another and to help generate interest.
